We recommend that your team identifies a North Star Metric (NSM), a single metric that best captures the core value that your product delivers to customers.
Once you’ve identified your North Star Metric, create measurable Objectives to grow it. NorthStar lets you define Objectives like “Increase Monthly Active Subscriptions” with a measurable goal of increasing“Active Subscriptions” by 25% in 90 days.
By having Objectives, you can categorize new ideas, tests, and results in the knowledge base by their objective (see below).
